Joanne Woodward has lived in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area for so many years, she now considers it her home.
She has lived in many places and that afforded her many opportunities to see beauty whether in cold Peace River, Alberta to the swamplands of southern Louisiana; dry, sandy towns in New Mexico to eastern Kentucky; majestic mountain ranges of Western Canada to small towns in Texas (8 of them) and yes, the list goes on and on!
She’s had just 5 art classes and a few online workshops. Many paintings were given away or sold before she found graphic companies to make Giclee reproductions of her work. Grateful for the God given talent she continues to fine tune, her passion is creating expressions of animal faces with Pastels, but she enjoys using a variety of mediums to paint other interesting subjects as well.
